Feedstock Consultant
Textile waste is a growing global challenge. Syre’s mission is to decarbonize and dewaste textiles, starting with the world's biggest fiber, polyester. By implementing true textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, we want to drive the transition from a linear to a circular value chain by putting textile waste to use, over and over again.
Parts of our stellar Feedstock Team is on parental leave during the year of 2026, and for this period Syre is now seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven consultant to support the development and execution of Syre’s feedstock sourcing strategy, key partnership processes and complex commercial agreements.
This is a hands-on, in-house consulting role focused on supporting the negotiations and contracting of feedstock suppliers, driving analytical work, support negotiations,, and ensuring that strategic initiatives are translated into clear decision material, contracts, and execution plans. For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to continue within the Feedstock team at the end of the contract.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Support partnership and sourcing negotiations led by Feedstock colleagues, including drafting and developing commercial agreements (closely collaborating with the Legal team and ESG department)
Drive analytical work related to feedback sourcing strategy, partnership models, and supply chain development
Structure, document, and formalize strategic initiatives, including preparation of decision material, commercial frameworks, and partnership structures
Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, commercial, operations, and sustainability teams to integrate feedstock strategies into the broader business
Support refinement and communication of feedstock strategy to customers and financiers
We would prefer if you have 5-10 years of experience demonstrating the following
Strong analytical capability combined with the ability to translate complex topics into clear written material, decision documents, and contractual structures
Development of commercial agreements, strategic sourcing, partnerships, or supply chain development
Supporting or leading complex negotiations and contract development processes
Openness to traveling, within and outside of Europe
A structured and execution-oriented working style, with the ability to independently drive work streams in a fast-moving scale-up environment
Strong commercial mindset and ability to balance strategic, operational, and financial considerations
Fluency in English both orally and in writing (professional English required)
Experience from textiles, recycling, circular materials, or developing supply chains is a strong plus but not a requirement
You will be reporting to the COO and should be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
