As the US HR Business Partner at Syre, you will be instrumental in bringing the organization's vision, mission, and values to life. In this key role, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, ensuring people initiatives align with business objectives to attract top talent and foster a thriving workplace culture. You will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), collaborating closely with leadership to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals.

• Provide daily tactical people support to employees across the two North Carolina facilities and remote staff in the United States.

• Split time between both locations to ensure consistent HR presence and engagement.

• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

• Develop and implement salable people policies and procedures tailored to a startup environment.

• Support talent acquisition and onboarding to build a strong workforce.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.

• Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

• Act as a change agent, driving people initiatives that support business growth.

• Partner with leadership to foster a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing organization, preferably in a startup or fast paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Ability to commute to and work onsite at both the Mebane, NC and Fayetteville, NC locations.
